Reflection on Psalm 116 as David speaks to God, himself and the community regarding his affliction and the faithfulness of God - always!

In this message Pastor David examines how the Prophet Habakkuk lodges a holy complaint to God over the violence and injustice he is witnessing. Pastor David examines how this complaint is not a lack of faith but rather a cry of lament and petition. His response is one that looks beyond the crisis and sets his eyes to the God who sees, cares, and responds to injustice. It is an example of neither denial or passivity, but a sacred engagement in a fallen world that exemplifies a posture of prophetic hope.
